In keeping with our Mission and Values, in 1995 our company established a private trust - The Lending Hand Foundation. The purpose of the Foundation is to allow us to give back to the communities where we work and live.
During its first three years, the Foundation contributed over $850,000
to more than 600 charities in all the states in which Continental
Holding has offices.
In 1998, Continental Holding adopted the Children’s Miracle Network as the recipient of its funds.
The Foundation contributes on a local level to the Children’s Hospitals
in the states in which we operate. The Foundation has contributed in
excess of $2 million dollars to fifty-nine local Children’s Hospitals.
In addition, our Corporate Headquarters, in Spartanburg, SC, has adopted the local chapter of the March of Dimes
to support through fundraising and participation in the annual Walk
America. In the past five years, our corporate staff of 100+ employees
has raised over $24,000 for this charity.

customers we serve, and the communities in which we operate our 900+
